28 days, one step a day
Maybe this sounds familiar
You know perfectly well that you want to change something.
But what really works for you?
Maybe you'd like to lose a few kilos. Maybe quite a few.
But maybe weight isn't even the only thing bothering you.
For instance, you notice
- that you get tired more quickly;
- that your energy fluctuates throughout the day;
- that moving takes more effort than it used to;
- that you don't always feel comfortable in your riding clothes;
- that your body sometimes limits you in what you want to do with your horse.
And you probably know full well that vegetables are healthier than biscuits.
But knowing what 'healthy' is and knowing what your body needs are two different things.
Maybe you've already tried
And it works for a while. Until ordinary life gets in the way.
What if this time you don't have to try even harder — but first learn to understand which dials you can actually turn?
A different way of looking
Your weight is not a standalone number
Your body doesn't work with a single button labelled 'lose weight'.
It's not only what you eat that plays a role:
body
That's why Healthy Rider Weight isn't about sticking to a strict plan for 28 days.
You're going to learn to observe, understand and adjust your own body.
Just as with your horse, you don't only want to know what to do, but also to understand why.
Observe
Understand
Choose
Adjust
You learn to navigate.
What can change
No quick fix.
But change that can last.
Before & after“Thanks to this challenge I've lost more than 30 kilos.”
“From a young age I had problems with my weight and I tried every diet, but after a short time the kilos often came back.
Through this challenge I discovered a different way. Now, almost a year later, I haven't only lost weight, I'm also stable in my weight. I feel good about myself again and I'm no longer ashamed.”
— Jacqueline
That's why this challenge exists
28 days to lay
a new foundation
This is not…
Not a diet in which we decide for 28 days what you may and may not eat.
Not a workout plan you have to dutifully complete.
And not a challenge where on day 29 you think: “Okay... now what?”
Healthy Rider Weight is a guided 28-day journey in which, day by day, you learn to understand a little better what influences your health, energy and weight.
- 01You gain knowledge
- 02You observe
- 03You experiment
- 04You discover
- 05You adjust
And slowly something far more valuable than a list of rules emerges:
October 1
We begin together
28 days later
You don't have to be ‘finished’
After that
You know better which way you want to go — and how to get there
What does it bring you?
Not starting over every Monday.
But knowing better and better what suits you.
Making more conscious choices without seeing everything as good or bad.
choicesBetter recognising what gives you energy and what costs energy.

own routeAnd yes...
Maybe you simply want to lose weight.
That's perfectly fine.
You don't have to pretend that isn't important to you.
But in this challenge we look beyond just the number on the scale.
Ultimately, you don't just want to weigh less.
You want a body that supports you in the life you want to lead.
Your personal compass
There isn't just one button.
That's why we look at the whole picture.
During the challenge you learn to look at your health from different directions.

01Nutrition & blood sugar
Looking more consciously at what you eat and drink, learning to read labels and experiencing how different choices work out for you.
02Stress & relaxation
Because health isn't only about what's on your plate.
03Sleep & recovery
Your daily energy is partly shaped by how well your body has been able to recover.
04Your signals
Learning to better notice hunger, fullness, energy, cravings, fatigue and habits.
05Movement
Not as punishment or calorie burning, but to become fitter, stronger and more vital.
06Your rider's body
Because your body is also part of the partnership with your horse.
This is how we build it up
28 days.
One next step every day.
You don't have to turn your whole life upside down on October 1. We build it up step by step.
Day 1 – 7
Where are you now — and where do you want to go?
You map out your starting point and look beyond just kilos. What do you want to get back? More energy? Moving more comfortably? Feeling better about yourself? Being able to ride more easily again, or doing everything with your horse that you'd love to do?
Day 8 – 14
Better understand what your daily choices do
Topics such as nutrition, drinks, sugar, carbohydrates and meal timing are covered. Not to impose one obligatory way of eating, but to help you choose more consciously.
Day 15 – 21
From knowing to actually doing
You take a broader look at energy, movement, recovery, routines and habits. You try out changes and observe what they mean for you in practice.
Day 22 – 28
Learn to keep going when real life happens
You learn to look at exceptions, setbacks, patterns and stabilising. You decide what you want to take with you from the challenge.
So day 28 is not the finish line.
It's the moment when you know far better how to carry on independently.
Participant experiences
Everyone started with
her own reason
“22 kilos lighter, off the medication and full of energy, strength and clarity. This challenge changed my life.”
“Through small adjustments and handy tips, this was the way to return to my old self. The result was that I lost 20 kg. I've been able to pick up horse riding and motorcycling again.”
“Super interesting assignments in the challenge. Really gets you thinking. Now 10 kilos lighter and a lot wiser. Still applying it.”
“12 kilos lighter — and not for a moment did I feel like I was on a diet. Small steps make a very big difference!”
“In one year -20 kg. Less bothered by sugar cravings, making me fitter and happier.”
“I'm losing weight very gradually, over 11 kg so far. I certainly felt good beforehand and was fit, but my weight was literally in the way of me and my horse.”
From 149+ kilos to around 68 kilos
Astrid's own journey
I know what it feels like when your body increasingly decides what you can still do
At her heaviest, Astrid weighed more than 149 kilos.
For her, it wasn't only about how she looked. It was increasingly about what her body still allowed.
Riding was no longer possible. Moving cost more. Her energy and health had declined sharply.
The turning point didn't come because one magic diet suddenly solved everything.
It was a process of
That's why this challenge isn't about being perfect.
It's about learning. Trying things out. Observing. Adjusting. And understanding better and better what suits you.
“That's what I want to pass on to you too.”
On the way together
You don't have to do those 28 days on your own

Today I really noticed how much difference my breakfast makes. Interesting to actually observe this for once.
Sanne·Day 9
Just got back from the stable and I actually still had energy left. 😅 Small step, but it makes me happy.
Anja·Day 16
Today was one of those off days. Good to read here that I'm not the only one. ❤️
Everyone walks the same 28 days. Everyone gets the same steps.
Together makes starting easier.
And often keeps you going too.
And your horse?
Your horse can simply carry on being a horse for these 28 days. 😉
You do all the assignments without your horse.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to want to lose a certain number of kilos?
No. Maybe you want to lose a lot, maybe a few kilos, and maybe your most important goal is mainly more energy, getting fitter or developing healthier habits.
Will I get a strict meal plan?
No. The goal is precisely that you learn to understand better and choose independently, instead of blindly following a prescribed plan for 28 days.
Do I have to eat keto?
No. During the challenge, various nutritional choices and insights are covered. You are not required to follow one specific way of eating.
Do I have to count calories?
No. The challenge is not built around constantly counting calories. In some situations insight into your nutrition can be useful, but it is not the basis of the programme.
Do I need my horse for the assignments?
No. Your horse can simply carry on being a horse. You do all the assignments without your horse.
When does the challenge start?
We start together on October 1, 2026.
How do I receive the challenge?
For 28 days you receive an email every day with the new step, and you also get access to the private community on our own platform.
Am I tied to a subscription?
No. You pay €47 once.
What if I miss a day?
No problem. The goal is not to perform perfectly for 28 days. Just pick up where you left off as soon as you can.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. You have a 14-day money-back guarantee.
